in memory of lu meng

    just now, i am shocked to learn about the passing away of lu meng. the last time i checked email it was on august 12th，2006，the same day as it occurred.since then i have been extremely busy, as i've been working by day on my boss's research projects and in the evening and in my spare time writing my independent research grant proposal to meet a set deadline.i don't even have time to check email.you can imagine how difficult all this is for a non-native english speaker like me.i guess the spirit and dreams of our younger years are still driving me forward and keeping me up.
    that's why i fully understand lu meng's soul, her passions and her tenacious pursuit of her dreams throughout her short but radiant life. she certainly would live forever in many people'smemory as a beautiful and talented idealist, full of fervor and energy, burning up her whole life to illuminate the life of others.her outstanding character will continue to give inspiration to all of us, leaving indelible marks on our society.
